A year has passed since the killing of the young woman Mahsa Amini and yet the Islamic Republic of Iran’s war on women has not ceased to wage. After her death, Iranians have stood up and demonstrated against the repression, thus showing the vast discontent with the regime. These events led forces to exert more dominance and instil fear over the population, especially towards women and girls which have, and still are, the main focus for discriminatory laws.

We at WLUML condemn the repression taking place in Iran against its own civilization, and once again demand the regime stop its war against women and girls!
