Dana Kamour

Dana Kamour is a feminist with experience in non-profit project coordination and delivery. She joined WLUML in 2021 for a research internship as part of the ‘No Peace Without Women’s Rights in Afghanistan Campaign’ analysing the Taliban’s political messaging in relation to women and minority rights. Since then, she has supported the network by coordinating programmes and publications and co-forming the new Digital Communications team. Outside of WLUML her work centres on migration and refugee support projects. Her most formative role was as Operations Officer for an NGO providing legal and social work support to unaccompanied minors living in informal camps in Northern France. Her current role is in refugee resettlement to the UK, strengthening safe and organised routes to safety through sponsorship. She studied Government and History at the London School of Economics where she acted as a research assistant to her professor under the Department of International Development and received a distinction in her MA Law from the University of Law.
