Ifra Asad is a researcher, writer, activist, and communications specialist. She studied Creative Writing from Franklin and Marshall College and Comparative Literature from SOAS, University of London. She is currently working at Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan Islamabad. In addition, she serves on the editorial team for two literary magazines, has been published by Three Rooms Press (USA), and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize for fiction. In addition to her job, she teaches English at a Pakistani university part-time. She has been with Women Living Under Muslim Laws as the Communications Officer since 2015.
